NVIDIA has allegedly already provided partners with the final specifications of both NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards. The insider also reports a specific date and even release time.
Source VideoCardz claims that NVIDIA has already provided full specifications to partners, and reveals the RTX 5060 Ti’s specifications, which are supposedly final. The video card will have a GB206-300 chip with 4608 CUDA cores — the specifications published earlier were confirmed. Both models with 16 GB and 8 GB of video memory will receive this processor, which have also been confirmed.
Both cards with different amounts of memory will use a 128-bit memory bus. They will come with 28 Gbps memory, which means a bandwidth of 448 GB/s — 55% higher than the corresponding previous generation graphics cards.
NVIDIA has set the GB206’s base frequency at 2407 MHz and boosted frequency at 2572 MHz. This means that the base clock is 97 MHz higher and the overclock is 37 MHz higher than the RTX 4060 Ti.
The reported TDP of 180 W for both variants is — 15 W higher than the 4060 Ti. Based on the specifications, the cards can also work with an 8-pin power connector. There will probably be variants with both 8 and 12-pin connectors.
As for the release time, an insider source reports about 9:00 pm (apparently in the US) April 16. This is when both NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards will be released, 16GB and 8GB. NVIDIA usually lifts the embargo on consumer graphics cards on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while this date is a Wednesday. This rule was applied to the RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti, However, 5070 was released on March 5, which was also a Wednesday. The 5060 non-Ti and RTX 5050 graphics cards are supposedly coming later, possibly closer to Computex.
