As reported by Redanian Intelligence, Freya Allan’s Ciri is the centerpiece of the South African phase of filming, which is coming to a close. It began on February 26 with scenes that are likely to be related to the arena in which Ciri was forced to fight Leo Bonarte. The film crew used used some of the sets from «ghostly» spinoff «Rats». The scenes with Tsiri were filmed until the last week, and they belong to several different episodes of Season 5. So far, it looks like the crew has done everything they needed to do in this country.
Another famous filming location — Stadzaal Caves and cliffs near Cederberg in South Africa. They resemble the location of Roque Nublo in the Canary Islands, which was used in season 1. We also filmed around the town of Stellenbosch, not far from Cape Town. They also filmed there Ciri and scenes with many murders.
Anja Chalotra and Anna Schaffer also arrived in Cape Town on March 15 to film scenes with Annifer and Triss last week. Unfortunately, little is known about their scenes, but the filming did not last long.
In fact, insiders don’t know if season 5 is really about Toussaint. But it is possible to build a path there from the end of season 4. At least the scenery is perfect for this.
