Samsung is introducing a new series of artificial intelligence features called Awesome Intelligence. And the first smartphones to receive it will be Galaxy A series devices. The new set of features resembles the powerful Galaxy AI suite, providing A-series models with additional capabilities.
Recently, Samsung’s AI hasn’t caused many complaints, as the company positions it as a useful tool to improve productivity, not just another marketing «feature» like some other manufacturers. Galaxy AI offers many features to simplify translation and multitasking, and now they will be available not only in Samsung’s flagships.
According to the company, the new Galaxy A devices will get some of the Galaxy AI features under the Awesome Intelligence brand («Awesome Intelligence»). This is a simplified set of features, but it includes the most important capabilities. For example, Galaxy A smartphones will receive an updated version of Circle to Search, which allows not only to quickly search for information on the screen but also to recognize music played in the content.
AI Select will also be available, which allows you to pull images for editing directly from the screen. It is integrated into Samsung’s ecosystem and works effectively, although it is not always as accurate in finding content as Circle to Search.
In addition, the following tools will be available in Galaxy A smartphones:
- Read Aloud,
- Object Eraser (removes objects from a photo),
- Edit Suggestion,
- Best Face (enhancement of faces in photos),
- Auto Trim (automatically trims the video).
Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy A56, A36 and A26 models will receive Awesome Intelligence features. At the same time, the company did not specify whether older A-series smartphones will get these features.
