Apple has released iOS 18.4, which expands the availability of Apple Intelligence to new regions, including the European Union and India. Apple Intelligence features are available on the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 series, as well as iPad and Mac with an M1 processor and later. Apple has also released iOS and iPadOS 16.7.11 and iOS and iPadOS 15.8.4 for older devices that can’t run on iOS 18.
With iOS 18.4, users also get Priority Notifications, a feature that moves important notifications that require immediate attention to the top of the list.
Image Playground has a new Sketch style for generating images. Visual Intelligence is also now available on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
Along with iOS 18.4, Apple also released updates to iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, watchOS 11.4, and visionOS 2.4.
Apple Vision Pro received the first set of Apple Intelligence features with the visionOS 2.4 update. The new features include: Writing Tools, Image Playground, Genmoji, Smart Reply. So far, they are available only in English (USA). Additionally, Apple introduced a new Apple Vision Pro app for iOS, which allows Vision Pro owners to receive useful tips, view new spatial content, and download apps and files remotely.
watchOS 11.4 adds a new feature called Break Through Silent Mode, which allows sound and vibrations to work even in silent mode. There is also support for Matter, which allows you to control smart home devices, including robotic vacuum cleaners. The update also includes bug fixes and stability improvements.
The reason is that Apple Intelligence doesn’t work in reality, as advertised, the company has already been sued.
