Paramount has officially shown the trailer for «Mission Impossible 8: Final Destination», where everything is as it should be — without computer graphics and real-life Tom Cruise stunts.
In the new trailer, the actor hangs from an upside-down airplane, jumps from a fighter jet, dives into a submerged submarine, and nearly faints due to lack of oxygen. The last point is not a metaphor from the movie, but Cruz was really on the verge of hypoxia at the time.
The film is officially titled The End of Ethan Hunt. The film continues the story of the previous part — «Payment»where the hero chased an artificial intelligence called The Entity. The story is not over, so now Ethan will find a sunken Russian submarine with the key to destroying the program.
Cruise has reassembled the old team: Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, as well as a few new faces. Among them are — Anna Weddingham (the one from «Ted Lasso»), Nick Offerman, and a few other fresh agents/villains you’ll recognize for sure, but you might not immediately remember their names.
For Paramount, the success of the film is important, as the previous installment, despite grossing $567 million, brought the studio a loss of more than $200 million the film’s budget exceeds $300 million
The world premiere of the film will take place on May 23, and in Ukraine on May 22. In the meantime, you can watch the previous parts or first trailer «Final Reckoning».
