Samsung has announced the global launch of the 2025 Neo QLED 8K TV series, which includes the QN990F and QN900F models. The new products are equipped with Samsung Vision AI, a system that combines adaptive picture and sound with various artificial intelligence tools.
For example, the Live Translate feature provides instant real-time subtitle translation. At the same time, Click to Search allows you to get information about actors right from the screen. And Universal Gestures allows you to control your TV with gestures via Galaxy Watch.
Both models are powered by the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor that supports 8K AI Upscaling. This allows you to improve the quality of content from lower resolution to high quality.
The QN990F is available in screen sizes from 65 inches to 98 inches. It features a Glare-Free Quantum Matrix Mini LED display and offers support for Motion Xcelerator 240Hz and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for clear reproduction of dynamic scenes such as games and sporting events. This model comes with an enhanced 8K AI Upscaling Pro picture quality feature. The device comes with a wireless module One Connect Box that transmits a signal up to 9 meters away. Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Pro (precise sound alignment according to the movement on the screen) are designed for enhanced sound reproduction.

The QN900F model can have a screen diagonal from 65 inches to 85 inches. In this case, the basic 8K AI Upscaling feature is available, as well as the somewhat limited 165Hz Motion Xcelerator and Object Tracking Sound+. There is also support for Dolby Atmos.
