HBO’s Francesca Audrey says that «The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms» will have impressive battles despite a modest budget compared to its predecessors.

Peter Claffey (Dunk) and Dexter Son Ansel (Egg) take the lead roles, and are joined by Finn Bennett (Aeryon Targaryen), Bertie Carvel (Balor Targaryen), Tanzin Crawford (Tansell), Daniel Ings (Lionel Baratheon) and Sam Spruell (Maekar Targaryen).
Martin and Ira Parker («The Sympathizer», «Dragon’s Den») are showrunners and writers, while Sarah Adina Smith («Chemistry Lessons») and Owen Harris («Black Mirror») are on board as directors. Ryan Condall («Dragon’s Den») has joined as an executive producer.
Earlier, George Martin said that he had watched all the episodes of the series and characterized it as «adaptation worthy of a reasonable person». HBO plans to shoot for at least a couple more seasons for «Knight of the Seven Kingdoms», while the writer himself declared that The second one is already under development.
The first season of «Knight of the Seven Kingdoms» will debut in late 2025 and will consist of 6 episodes.
